WooCommerce
Migration

Moving to WooCommerce from Magento, Shopware, Shopify or a legacy system? We migrate existing shops SEO-safely: with 301 redirects, preserved rankings, no data loss and minimal to zero downtime.

WooCommerce is our core system. We plan every migration around preserving your search visibility, transferring your data completely and keeping your shop online throughout, GDPR-compliant and made in Germany.

Migrating from which system?

From Magento

Escape rising licensing and hosting costs and the maintenance overhead of Magento, with your catalog, customers and order history fully intact.

From Shopware

Move away from Shopware licensing tiers to an open, license-free platform, without giving up the depth your shop needs.

From Shopify

Leave behind monthly fees, transaction cuts and platform lock-in, and gain full ownership of your shop, data and hosting.

From TYPO3 / legacy systems

Replace an aging TYPO3 shop or a custom legacy system with a modern, maintainable WooCommerce setup, without losing your search visibility.

The migration in 6 steps

1. Analysis & inventory

We review your current system, data, URL structure and integrations, and map out exactly what gets migrated.

2. Data migration

Products, categories, customers and order history are transferred cleanly into WooCommerce, verified and validated.

3. Theme & functionality

We rebuild design, features and integrations on WooCommerce, tailored to how your shop actually works.

4. 301 redirects for SEO

Every old URL is mapped to its new counterpart with 301 redirects, so rankings and link equity carry over.

5. Test & go-live

Everything is tested on staging first. The switch happens in a tight, planned window with minimal to no downtime.

6. Support

After go-live we monitor indexing and performance and keep developing your shop, with a personal contact.

Why WooCommerce?

Open source

WooCommerce is open source. No vendor lock-in, no closed platform, full access to your codebase.

License-free

No license fees for the core platform. You invest in your shop, not in recurring platform licenses.

Full data ownership

Your data lives on your hosting. GDPR-compliant, made in Germany, with full control over where and how it is stored.

No revenue cut

WooCommerce takes no share of your sales. Every euro your shop earns stays with you.

Frequently asked questions about the migration

Do our Google rankings survive the migration?

That is the core of every migration we do. We map each old URL to its new counterpart and set up 301 redirects across the board, so link equity and rankings carry over. On top of that we preserve meta data, structured data and URL structures wherever possible and monitor the indexing closely after go-live.

Are customers and orders transferred?

Yes. We migrate products, categories, customer accounts and order history into WooCommerce. What exactly can be transferred depends on your current system and data quality, which is why every project starts with a detailed inventory before we quote anything.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on shop size, the number of products and the complexity of your current setup. A small catalog migrates faster than a shop with tens of thousands of SKUs and custom integrations. After the initial analysis you receive a realistic timeline for your specific case, not a generic promise.

Is there any downtime?

We build and test the new WooCommerce shop in parallel on a staging environment while your existing shop stays live. The switch happens at go-live in a tight, planned window, so downtime is minimal to none and your customers keep shopping.
